Senior Thesis — Spring 2023

I developed and wrote a thesis analyzing Fortnite and Elden Ring as contemporary, digital mechanisms of war and death using features of modern video games. 

Gutter Boards: Superhero Skateboards

Gutter Boards is a skateboard company inspired by comic imagery that supplants classic superhero styles onto skateboard photography to create unique products. This mixture of visual styles is untapped, but comics and skateboarders share many overlaps in how iconic characters and personalities are photographed and presented; this allows for seamless combinations of Gutter Boards’ influences that result in designs shown below.

I proposed a collaboration between designer Sean Wotherspoon and Vespa which became the best-selling collobaration vehicle in Vespa’s history.
